Join us for a sociable end of season dinner and short AGM at Christchurch Sailing Club. The club is very friendly, well worth a visit and difficult for many of us to get to by boat. So take the opportunity to do so by land. CSC is also the home of the lovely Ianthe, which you may have seen out on the water at Yarmouth.
The AGM will start at 18.00 and follow our familiar format discussing, amongst other matters, the programme for next year and the presentation of prizes. With the formalities swiftly out of the way, we will be able to enjoy a 3-course festive meal followed the Club’s shanty band, Buoys and Gulls who will give a rousing rendition of some classic shanties for about half an hour.
Three of our Solent based boats ventured off to Brittany this summer and managed to call in on to St Malo on their way for a social night with the French OGA. Join us to hear how the cruise went!
