We have all been invited to a major new festival in St. Malo. The French have a reputation for doing these things on a grand scale, funded by local communities and sponsors. They already have over 100 continental boats registered and are keen for us to join them. They have 300m of quay to fill and parking for 50 trailers on the harbour wall.
Solent Gaffers will be supporting those heading for St. Malo and invite you to make your passage through the Solent, wherever you’re starting from. East, West, North, Continental Europe…Southampton… make a proper cruise out of your passage, or pick up a bit of race practice.
